Cocopeat Blocks 5kg

Coco Coir Peat is the ‘Coir Fiber Pith’ or ‘Coir Dust’ produced as a bi-product when coconut husks are processed for the extraction of the long fibers from the husk, Used in Horticultural and Agricultural applications.

A very Special Grade of coir dust is washed, screened and graded before being processed into various CoCo Coir Peat products for CoCo Coir Peat is a multi-purpose soil conditioner and growing medium. It is consistent and uniform in texture. It is a completely homogenous material composed of millions of capillary micro-sponges, that absorb and hold up to eight times it’s own weight in water. The natural pH of 5.7 to 6.5, plus an unusually high Cation Exchange Capacity – and 27% of Easily Available Water assures that coir will hold and release nutrients in solution over extended periods without rewatering.

Cocopeat Blocks 650 grams

We  Organic Substrates & Fertilizers are in production of  650gms bricks are ideal for Home gardens.. They can be hand carried as they are low in weight.. The brick can be supplied with or without buyers printed labels. They are excellent for propagation, water retention, soil aeration and seed germination. Coco coir bricks can be used in potting, seed stating, bulbs and tubers. It can be used as an alternatives for Peat Moss. The pH value of Peat Moss is low which makes it not suitable to grow all plants, where as, coir blocks have a pH value ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 making it ideal for wide range of plants.

Method of Preparation: Soak the brick in a water trough and within minutes you can see the brick absorbing about 8 – 9 liters of water.

Buffered Cocopeat Blocks / Powder

Cocopeat has been the most popularly used perfect growing medium in the world. But there are numerous processes involved in developing a perfect Cocopeat / Coir pith for the different Agricultural sectors.

Cocopeat (without Buffering) comes with no inherent nutritional value and many of the coco coir particles are filled with Potassium (K) and Sodium (Na) which both have a single charge. Double positive elements such as Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg) have a stronger affinity to these sites, and will replace potassium and sodium.

This can cause a Nutrient imbalance in some crops when the calcium and magnesium intended for the plant use is instead captured by the inert medium and in turn releases the displaced potassium and sodium. In this situation, there is a possibility of deficiency in calcium and magnesium for the plants.

The Goal Of Buffering

The goal is to lower the amount of CEC sites that have Potassium and Magnesium attached. Potassium can be attached to up to 40% of the sites and Sodium can be attached by up to 15% of the sites. This is very important because if 40% of the exchange is holding Potassium that means that there is 40meq/100g of media of Potassium which is a single-charge molecule. Hydrated Coco Coir should make 12-15L of medium per 1kg of dry, compressed Coco Coir. It may not sound like a lot but it would mean that there is as much as 1.56g of Potassium per 100g of media. If you compare this 1.56g to 0.22g of Potassium that you would normally be using in a well balanced nutrient feed, you can see where this would be a problem.

Nutrient Lockout and Plant Deficiencies

Using Coco that has not had it’s complex buffered is going to create a very unsuitable grow medium for any plant. The positively charged cations such as Calcium and Magnesium are going to have a stronger attraction to the Coco complex where it will become unavailable to the plants and nutrient lockout will occur. This will cause Potassium and Sodium, which are less attached to the complex, to be displaced into the solution and be taken up by the plants instead of Calcium.

Calcium is crucial for a plant’s growth and is involved in almost every aspect of a plant’s development. Your plant will show Calcium deficiencies in a few different ways if you pay close attention. New leaves may appear crinkled and distorted while they might also show dead spots where the leaves will turn brown and die- off.

By Buffering the Cocopeat, before processing it into cultivation products; it was found that the deficiency problem has been solved and led to an improvement in the supply of Calcium and Magnesium to the plant.

Buffered Cocopeat is a time-consuming process and need to be done in a controlled and well-monitored manner. Firstly, Buffering Cocopeat starts with proper rinsing and flushing of the Cocopeat with clean water and this process removes the water soluble particles. Once this process is completed, let the water drain out for a period of time. Secondly, perfect solution of Calcium Nitrate and Magnesium Sulphate is prepared and rinsed/applied to the Coco coir for a period of time and carefully monitored. This process removes the residual Sodium and Potassium complex in the Coco coir. Finally, after the resting period is over, once again wash or rinse off the Coco coir with clean water.

Seedling Plugs /Pellets

In Recent years Cocopeat Nursery Grade quality are modified as per the Client requirement in Round/Square Plugs/pellets/Disc , It’s Speciality is they have inbuilt with non-Woven Cloth on its outer surface which make them ideal for Direct seed plantation for Plants which are sensitive to Transplantation Shock It gives Plants Additional time and support to Anchor its Roots in new soil and Surroundings.

Product

Seedling Plugs are an open-wall, net container and medium all in one. They are easy to work with, economical to ship (being supplied as lightweight, highly compressed, dry discs) and they transplant well, either into larger containers, or directly into the ground.

Bio - Degradable Non - Woven Cloth

Seedling Plugs/Pellets is now in the process of switching from PE and PP plastics to Bio – Degradable Non – Woven Cloth for all Seedling Plugs/Pellets, Bio – Degradable Non – Woven Cloth is a lightweight fine-fibre bio-web made of polylactic acid. This material is designed for any growing applications. It’s biodegradable and compostable under controlled, industrial conditions. It is Produces according to the harmonized European standard.

Product Certifications

To guarantee the high quality standard of our products, we certify our product portfolio for organic use, biodegradability, quality, uniformity, etc. This way we help you to meet the requirements your products need in the field for organic production, sustainability, biodegradability and quality.

Seedling Plugs /Pellets

It is Mainly used in Propagating seeds/cuttings/Tissue culture with Seedling Plugs/Pellets has a number of clear advantages for the professional grower. You can consistently record higher and faster levels of in-pot germination thanks to the uniform growing in Seedling Plugs/Pellets , consistent quality, means consistent results. Your plant yields will be higher as seedlings do not have to be removed from the container, the pellet eliminates root disturbance, and simply planted into the nest growing stage without transplant shock. These shorter growing process cycles also mean considerable labor-savings and water-use reduction. Seedling Plugs/Pellets are a logical choice for professional propagators who want to be more profitable.

The Seedling Plugs/Pellets are made as per RHP-certified coco substrate, or 100% coco substrate. Most Seedling Plugs are available preloaded in many European and North American tray standards, as well as on poly-roll (pre- spaced pellets on a roll) or as bulk pellets for loading into standard industry trays. The 100% peat and the coir/peat mix pellets have the medium exposed to high temperature flash drying to create a sterile substrate.

Organic Coco Peat De-Composed Powder

Coco Peat based organic composts are prepared by bioconversion of
washed coco peat using lignolytic mushroom with added organic Nutrients
which degrades the lignocellulosic content in coco peat and there-by
improving the nutrient status, making it ideal for agricultural/horticultural
use.
